For those that have the workshop manual PDF

Can you search your manual by text? I bought a paper one which is great but some of the pages are getting a bit tatty; I found a PDF copy on the web (please don't ask for this...) however it's a scan of the proper manual and doesn't have character recognition in it making it a mare to look for stuff.

Has anyone had any success converting said download to OCR or know where I can buy one that is text searchable?

You can't output pages as text as the original document is locked and will only open with RAVE.

You can search for stuff within a certain section though, what exactly are you looking for?

If it's a simple PDF you can't search for words in it. As a PDF Is usually the images put together.

However, some offer the option of selecting text, so it all depends with that software you open it with.

I just browse the pages really...
