Question How do I remove my ZS Gear Knob???

I have bought a new Gear Knob for my ZS but I cannot figure out how to remove the factory fitted one... can anyone tell me how??

pretty sure it is the same as on the 25
pull the gear gaiter down it should unclip from the gear knob then just turn the gear knob basically unsrewin it

Pull very very hard and it will come off, but be carefull not to smack yourself in the face while doing it

When I replaced the gearknob in my Almera, it was very much like that. I don't know what glue Nissan use, but bloody hell!!! Eventually a junior hacksaw and a bit of sweat and we eventually got the OEM one off...

No matter how hard I tried... that damn thing will not come off...

Blow torch ...

Hummm or then again perhaps not!

you could always try spraying some disolvant in the gab by the joint (white spirit, tric, even petrol) just watch your seats!!!

I have been told that it is really difficult to get off, but then you already know that by now. So try twisting slightly and pull at the same time.
