Im not 100% sure the car is a 45 but still.. Im looking to get the ecu off a 1.8 for my 25 as they have same connections but carnt find the black box which us behind the fuse box in my 25..

Anyone got any ideas??

Behind the center console I think.

Is your car a 1.8?

On the 400s and 45s, it's deep inside the back of the centre consol ~ behind and below the heater controls unit. Lots of fiddly screws to remove consol for access. Take your time and be patient. Removed/Fitted two sets of these recently ~ so all still fresh in my mind....

It must be deep inside then as got all it out plus glove box etc..

My car is 1.6 cammed ported induction on 1.4 ecu runing lean, its a free ecu and bits so gonna give it a try..

So, now you wanna buy a BMW .... Huh! No natural class ... Normally aspirated engines suck. They really do. Good job turbocharged engines blow and suck. That's better.
