I believe it's from 9.2 onwards, mine is v9.8

Can they be easily updated?
Any ideas if these can do the same:

I've been toying with the idea or ordering one of these as they do alot more cars and can program keys etc.

The SBB unit spec doesn't mention its ability to read/erase fault codes or security match ECU's.

I have no idea if the T300+ can be updated.

I can also confirm the the T300+ will allow adjustment of engine idle and CO levels, so far only tried on MEMS1.9 and 2J.

Turns out ive got v9.2. do you know if its possible to update the software at all. Advanced diagnostics seem to have updates but you have to have bought it form them I think

It should work.

Using the 5AS cable try to connect to your car by selecting ZR from the Remotes menu.

If it doesn't connect then your unit will code Pektron fobs

So do you still use the 5AS cable for Pektron, or the standard cable?

You shouldn't have MEMS3 as they started in 2000, so will be 1.9 or 2J. 1.9 has ONE connector on the side of ECU, 2J has TWO connectors

Ive never tried. I don't know anyone with an older F.

Thanks for the reply, I have asked the question about the cable to Technozen as well as he has had it working so hope he replies.
I have retrieved the fault codes etc but cannot seem to get live data..

He said he got live data form 1.9, so I guess its from the standard OBD cable as the 5As cable is just for the 5AS ECU. what software version do you have

I initially used the OBD cable that came with the unit and had live data with it from my MEMS2J 200VI and a MEMS1.9 Rover 400.

I then made up a lead for 5AS programming and decided to add a switch which allows me to use one lead for MEMS and 5AS, this lead gave me live data on MEMS1.9/2J/3.

Since the weekend I have had live data on a Jag XK8, Vauxhall Astra, Rover 25 and an MGF.
