2012 BTCC Rounds 1,2 and 3 @ Brands Hatch
Well, here we are - the 2012 season is upon us!

I'll be trackside and pitside all weekend, posting up any bits of news I find and more than likely quite a few photos into the event gallery.

I'll add a few images to the bottom of this post as well, they'll all link through to the pic in the gallery.

I'm going on Sunday but don't know best place trackside for pics at Brands as we normally hang around down the hill at paddock hill bend (not best place for pics).

I'll probably post some pics if I get any decent ones - I'll be using a £1700 Nikon lens so I've got no excuse not to! If you see a really filthy xpower grey ZT in the car park it'll be mine

Looking forward to it as I haven't been to a BTCC event for a few years.

Ok, I've arrived at Brands and settling into the media center. Nothing to report as of yet, the MGs have been out for a few installation laps and one of the Insignias have gone into the tyre walls.

Great reporting Steve,I believe the qualifying (3:15-3:50) is streamed live on ITV4
