Angry Rover 75 V6 dipstick removal

Hi all,

Trying to change my cambelts and am stuck at removing the dipstick. Have looked everywhere to try and find out to no avail. I understand you have to depress the collar and pull out the dipstick tube but I can't seem to get it to happen!

Can anyone advise?

There is a bolt further up, that needs to be removed first.
As for removing the O-ring connector, it is, (as far as I remember):
1. push the connector and the stick housing down,
2. then pull on the housing while keeping downward pressure on the connector.

Make sure you clean all areas well first. There could be a lot of oily sand there. You don't want that into the sump.
