What do you mean by this? Am not familiar with servers sorry.

The main difference between VB and PhPbb is you have to pay for VB but PhpBB is free.

I suppose bandwith is also dependant on if you are going to allow big images in signatures and the uploading of attachments. It would be very hard to say, until you are up and running and have guaged how popular the forum is going to be. How many active members do you think will use it each day?

Vbulletin is a great bbs.

I use phpBB on www.combat-arts.co.uk and i think it does a great job (Especially if you also use PHP-NUKE)

have a look at mine and see what you think

I like the front page, bringing up recent posts, news, who is online etc.

The site is still pretty much in it's infancy at the moment and i am always trying to tweak things ( And fend off Hackers)

feel free to join lol

i'm looking to increase the userbase at the moment.

Once i get a few dedicated martial artists i think the site will start to grow!

Daily Visits: 8916 Total Visits: 803528

were still in the basic setup just to get to grips with it's hosted on myserverworld at the sec

didn't post it before as it could be taken that it's advertising and promoting

at the sec the forum is with eZboards but my test forum is set up on lycos and works fine as in i can login to and post on with no probs but the setup for it on the main server just is'nt working all i get is a blank page when atempting to open the insall html page

prob is that i like both and purchased a copy of vb but as say even with the

the host states that it supports all the needed file types ect so it should work no probs

But he has already bought VB, VB is actually a better product. So I would stick with it.
