I THINK it is Goodmans, although I'm not sure.
The rear tweeters will not work, as they are not there...option! Sampled a Hi-Line system in a 75 Tourer (Hi Paul.... ) last week, with the optional sub in the loadspace - AWESOME SOUND quality and clarity!Must get some pics

The Harmony radio fiited to the 2002 R75 is a Philips RG745. The full code is 22DC745/60R. I know because I removed my radio to find out prior to buying a CD changer

Mine is a 2001 R75 and it's a Philips too. BTW, you can use another CD changer from Sony, not the original Alpine (yes Alpine, not Phlips) by using and adapter from Connects2 UK. They sent me one along with a Sony MP3 6 Disc Changer and works great.

It's easy. If the head unit only has a 1 line display where it tells you the frequency or the name of the station if it's an RDS station (besides the traffic and news small signals to the left), then it is a Philips head unit (the Harmony system). If it has a bigger, multi-line display (not the GPS system), then it's a Symphony system.
I bought my adapter and changer from Connects2 (www.connects2.co.uk) last summer, but last timw I wrote them a message they didn't answer. They had told me that any Sony distributor should have their adapter in their lists anywhere in Europe, but the Spanish one was not very helpful, so I talked directly to them, kim.oliver@mobilees.com was the contact. It took me less than an hour to mount everything (adapter and changer in the glove box) and it works fine with any CD-r o CD-RW I've tried, the sound is great. And no, I don't work for them nor Sony .Hope this helps you. |
