Coupe undertray - how much?

I noticed a scraping noises going over the speed bumps outside my house yesterday, and on inspection found the front plastic undertray to be hanging down. Also I've recently, no idea how, managed to damage the the passenger side wheel arch liner, so I'm thinking I'm gonna replace all the plastic cladding on the front underside. I'm guessing it was refitted badly after some insurance work last year.

So basically, can anybody advise on prices and part numbers for front arch liners, the undertray and fitting kits (bolts and screws) for a 1998 VVC Coupe.

Thanks,
James

I have had my undertray scraping on speed bumps etc. I got my car on ramps, drilled holes in appropriate places and reattatched useing cable ties.

More than a 1000 mile and it still has not broke!!
Just trying to save you a bit of cash.

Cheers

Cheers 25,

I know it's probably an easy "bodge", but I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I'd rather get it properly sorted. Unless of course it's gonna cost.

Cable ties are 'tough wee beasties' and allow a bit of movemnet - if the undertray is cought on a speedbump.

Never under-estimate the strength of cable ties and duck tape!

It may sound like a bodge, but it bloody works!!! 1000 miles later and the 'repair' has not let me down at all.

I have driven over speed bumps, dropped into the occasional pot hole (unawares) and the undertray has not even scrapped one little bit. I am well chuffed.

Obviously, if it starts to scrape etc i will then buy another tray.

But for now, i will keep this one.

Cheers
