Hi, I've used a freelander master and swapped over the clevice. There are some good instructions on how to do this on the web.

Thanks, l will look into that but really need a new or used original as the garage don't want to mess about too much.
I have the part number for the original part as SJJ 100 390 is anyone able to confirm this please?

Thanks, I checked with rimmers and they are NLA.
I ordered one off ebay which had a different P/N so I am hoping it will work.

The only part listed in the parts catalogue for the 180 is the afore-mentioned SJJ100390.

Thanks Stefan. Despite checking with the supplier on ebay before purchase the bmc was wrong and has been returned.
From what the garage say these are no longer available in that no one has stock of any that they could find, luckily I found one in the workshop and just incase I bought another off a fb group so one of those should be good.

In case this is of use to anyone the MG ZS 180 BMC visually differs to the std bmc in that the std bmc has the forward most break pipe mounted vertically whereas the 180 bmc has this offset, towards the offside of the car.

RING Lakeland Mini - they were the only place who could supply the correct master cylinder for my wifes ZR160 a couple of years ago.

Nick

Can you confirm if the 1.8 and 2.5 brake masters are different lengths?

Thanks
