2nd car looks nice but why oh why do sellers insist on wheeling out the BS? "Lotus designed a new head gasket and head studs"...erm, apart from anything, they're bolts, not studs! :lol:

lol the listing stood out, as a result of the blerb.... not just for all the best reasons,

it also amazes me how when you say the engine in our/the Tomcat VVC is the same as the early Elise, it always makes peoples ears ***** up, not that Rover get the relivent praise for such a great engine,

but in fairness, having driven both cars & owned the Tomcat a lot longer, I now which I prefer.....

NB apart from the Tomcat having an easier roof system, carpets/sound proofing fitted & much easier to get into too...!!

the Tomcat VVC, that was doing well (S391 ORN),

ended on £1370 (if the checkout payment goes ok),

NB which is not bad for a VVC, in fairness I've seen other models go for much higher than that....!!
