Hi All.
Our son's fiancee slipped up badly a couple of years ago and got herself a drink driving ban. She now has the chance of a job, but it means driving (antisocial hours). My own insurer was apologetic but simply isn't interested in covering her. I wondered if anyone else has had a family member in similar straights, and might be able to suggest an insurer willing to quote? She's only 22 (bad enough) so I'm expecting quotes from £3000 and up, but I wouldn't mind dealing with a company that wasn't straight out of the Wild-West.

Just in case (God forbid) anyone else finds themselves with the same problem:
She tried a number of online 'specialist insurers', all advertising to cover drivers with convictions. All cost a fortune. I called Adrian Flux on her behalf, and ended up with a higher level of cover, with lower excess, at a far better price. I have no connection with the company at all, but they couldn't have been more helpful.
