Hi All,

I've got a remapped ECU for my 160 mk1 here with a Lucas 5AS and a fob. Is there anything I need to bear in mind whilst fitting these? I guess I should disconnect the battery and leave the car sit for a short while. Then I disconnect the ECU and remove from it's carrier in the front right engine bay right? The 5AS is on the bulkhead above the pedals, disconnect and remove this next? Then refit new items in reverse, connect the battery and press the lock key on the fob until the car locks, then unlock and it should be good to go?

Any hints and tips from those who've done it would be appreciated!

Hi, done this now. All I would add to the instructions above is that later ZRs come with anti-tamper screws to hold the ECU and 5AS into position which makes removal a bit more awkward. Everything else went smoothly though, fitted a new battery to the fob and all it took was a few pushes on the lock button to sync it and the car fired straight up.
