Hi All,

new to the forum I did look if there was a place in the forum to introduce myself but couldn’t find one but apologies if I missed.

just recently acquired a 95 SPI Cooper as a project but I’d didn’t come with the immobiliser fob - going through a full service at the moment but now getting to the stage where I need to start it

so I need to rip out the immobiliser evil and send it off to be programmed to a new fob - no doubt I’ll struggle to get that done at the moment due to Covid19 or alternatively can by pass it for now ?
Really keen to get the project on the road and this will be holding me back as of tmr :(

many guidance would be greatly appreciated

thank you :)

Decent garages rages can usually just program a new key fob to the car. You just need one of thoze fancy £2000 fancy scan tools that look like ipads. Ring up your local garages see if they can do it.
