It must have been the day for it - mine was having its re-test on the same day.
I had to sort out exhaust & emissions, rear brake efficiency, ball joint split pin and headlight alignment from the previous test.
Passed 2nd time I am pleased to say.
Taxed from 1st May and now using it. Another 220 coupe turbo going strong!
Mine was a 2nd time pass too after it failed on the lower arm mount being worn. A cheap £28 part later and it's still torque steering like mad (needs a genuine MG-R part or poly-bushing) but it's passed :lol:
Service, tax, MOT and insurance = £500 but worth it.
Got the usual advisory on the cracked but still readable front number plate but also got an advisory on exhaust gases. That'll keep 'till next year!
