Hi there I'm new to the board and Rover ownership.
I've always had Vw's/VAG vehicles with an Audi 100 and W124 Merc thrown in for good measure.
These cars are relatively easy to lower with plenty of second hand and off the shelf goodies for them.

So the other day I decided to take a coil out of one corner of my Streetwise only to find the springs are tapered, the spring then slid down the strut making it useless.

I want a good 60-70mm drop as 30mm to me is pointless.

It's a 2 litre diesel so am I rite in thing I can only interchange springs/struts with other diesel vehicles?

All help appreciated,
Cheers

cutting springs is gash, why on earth did you do it?

You need MG ZR struts with 30mm lowing springs on, this will lower you 70-80mm, any lower you will need coilovers that start at £600

The streetwise is 20mm high than a 25 and the MGZR is 20mm lower than a 25
