A long time later, I bring news, following your instructions everything is working.

I finally finished the dashboard swap.

Thank you very much.

I continue with the process of adapting my mk2 to mk1, as I will need an extra button on the strettwise console to locate the centralized locking button, I opted for a Rover R8 air controls that had the air button under the roulettes and use the button of the streetwise air conditioning to put the centralized closure there and with this everything would be adapted and integrated, but I have some doubts about the wiring of the buttons of the R8 since the colors are slightly different from the of the ZR mk1 and mk2.

The wiring of the mk1 and mk2 do not change in the least on the button of the air conditioning:

MK1 Air Conditioning connector

pin 1 - Grey/White wire - earth connection from blower switch
pin 2 - Black - Earth (for illumination)
pin 3 - Red/Black - illumination wire (from fusebox)
pin 4 - Blue/Red - to Engine control module
pin 5 - LightGreen/Grey - live wire from fusebox

MK2 Air Conditioning switch

pin 1 - Grey/White wire - earth connection from blower switch
pin 2 - Black - Earth (for illumination)
pin 3 - Red/Black - illumination wire (from fuse box)
pin 4 - Blue/Red - to Engine control module
pin 5 - LightGreen/Grey - live wire from fusebox
The problem is the Rover R8 400 button that I am going to use, that the wiring is as follows:

Rover R8 400 Air Conditioning connector

pin 1 - Green
pin 2 - Grey/White
pin 3 - Blue/Red
pin 4 - Red/Black
pin 5 - Red/White
I attach a comparative photo of both connectors.

The button apparently is like the rest that the mk1 used, I think I would need to put the wiring in the same order as in the mk1/mk2 so that it would work, but in this situation I prefer to ask.

I still have it pending, I did not want to take a risk without being sure.

I managed to sneak some time today and here you are:

MK1 Air Conditioning connector

pin 1 - Grey/White wire - earth connection from blower switch
pin 2 - Black - Earth (for illumination)
pin 3 - Red/Black - illumination wire (from fusebox)
pin 4 - Blue/Red - to Engine control module
pin 5 - LightGreen/Grey - live wire from fusebox

MK2 Air Conditioning switch

pin 1 - Grey/White wire - earth connection from blower switch
pin 2 - Black - Earth (for illumination)
pin 3 - Red/Black - illumination wire (from fuse box)
pin 4 - Blue/Red - to Engine control module
pin 5 - LightGreen/Grey - live wire from fusebox

Rover R8 400 Air Conditioning connector

pin 1 - LightGreen wire - live wire from fusebox
pin 2 - Grey/White wire - earth connection from blower switch
pin 3 - Blue/Red wire - to Thermo Switch (this is part of Engine control module in case of R25)
pin 4 - Red/Black wire - illumination wire (from fuse box)
pin 5 - Red/White wire - to Dimmer Switch - Earth (for illumination)

You just need to follow function to the corresponding pin in new switch. Actually wire colours are almost identical, only instead of Black you have Red/White and instead of LightGreen/Grey you have just LightGreen.

So ... If I understood correctly my connector for the R8 button should be as follows (with the ZR cables)

Rover R8 400 Air Conditioning connector in ZR

pin 1 - LightGreen/Grey - live wire from fusebox
pin 2 - Grey/White wire - earth connection from blower switch
pin 3 - Blue/Red - to Engine control module
pin 4 - Red/Black wire - illumination wire (from fuse box)
pin 5 - Black - Earth (for illumination)
I still need to order the button that will locate where the stretwise takes the AC for unlocking the doors and proceed to make the connection of the new AC button of the R8 400, to avoid having to be opening several times the center console.

Thank you very much for your help.
