My "new" 1998 MGF is excellent but I think the suspension needs a pump-up as the ride is a little firmer than expected.

Does anyone know someone who can do this? I live on the Herts/Bucks border, the nearest big towns being Chesham, Hemel Hempstead, Amersham & St Albans.

Am I being over pessimistic in questioning whether the car’s current suspension height is within limits or not? If it is, could it be the ride height has been adjusted by adding more fluid to compensate for a lower air level in the spheres, and the car may now be running on a suspension of the excess compressed fluid, making the ride harsher?
Possibility or not -to keep in mind?
Kind regards,
Austin.

Very true Austin, although rod1361 can get the suspension pumped up, it might be that there is little to no nitrogen in a sphere(s).
