Hi all,
I use my MGZR for road rallying. MGZR 160 2002yr

With the recent wet weather the deep puddles cannot be avoided.
I am suffering with water getting through the inner wing onto the alternator belt casing momentary slipping.
I have checked the belt is tight, so I need to somehow splash guard the belts.

I spoke with Rimmer Bros today, and they have said they don't stock any parts to help.

I was wondering if any one out there knows if there is a part that can be fixed to the underside of the inner wing to splash guard this venerable area and where I can get it . Or can advise a DIY solution.

Luckily the belt does bight again and full alternator power returns after slight dimming of the lights and spots. But I am on a 180 mile all night rally on Saturday night into Sunday and I am concerned about the amount of water out on the roads at the moment.

you can buy an undertray for the mg zr diesels, you may need to make your own mounting plates though

Here is the part number

Been watching one of these for a few years to use on my Cabby, bit too pricey at the moment.
