Any php gurus here? I am trying to debugg a script that works on the production server in my computer but gives a php syntax error when tested on the production server.

This line is giving an error;

$autoloader = new BayesPHP\Autoloader('BayesPHP', __dir__ . '/');

The error, from the server log, is;

PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING

Found the reason for the error. Production server is running as php version 5.2.17 even though I have switched it to run as php 5.3, on the server php version control. Annoying, indeed, I will send an email to the hosting company to ask them why it is not running as what it should.

Edit; solved. I forced it to use the desired php version by using the .htaccess file.
