Hi
I have quite a few elements not working on my rear screen heater.
I cannot see any breaks so I assume they must be at the edge where the elements meet the two side strips.
Anyway I can repair these?
Any help would be appreciated.

You need to find where the break is. IIRC there are several products offered on market for heater repair in form of conductive paint.
Exactly.
I cannot see any breaks in the visible screen area.
Therefore, I assume the breaks are at the edges where the elements join the edge connectors.
It is impossible to see these without removing the trim panels and I don't want to do that unless I know how. for fear of breaking the whole system.
Do you know how these panels come out?

I have managed to get the trim off one side but still cannot see much.
I will try the other side when I get home.
Thanks for replying

Now that the sun is shining on it, I have managed to find three if the breaks. I will get a repair kit and then look for the others. Thanks for your help.
If you want to know how to get the side trim off, I’m your man. 😂😂
