Hi, I've not been on for a while so only just seen this, but for anyone else who's looking;

for the Rover 827 Auto Honda engined cars as far as I know they all used Hondamatic ATF.

Unbeknown to most, the 1998 Rover 820 T-series Auto spec sheets also required Hondamatic 96 ATF! (I think the 96 was an update to Hondamatic)

Hondamatic 96 ATF was then superseded by Hondamatic ATF-Z1 AT Fluid! (which was available in 1 litre bottles from Honda dealers)

For the Rover 825 KV6 Auto gearbox there was only Texaco N403 specified.

Texaco N403 was discontinued years ago and only MG-Rover Oil for Jatco Gearbox (part number VYK000040) should be used in the KV6. (these were available in 5 litre bottles from X-part dealers)

Using anything else / Dexron II for any Rover 800 is at your own risks!
